Welcome to Texas Tail Distillery! We're a small-batch distillery dedicated to creating the finest spirits you've ever tasted, and we're proud of it.
We specialize in vodka and whiskey, but we also create a variety of other liquors that are sure to please any palate.
Our Process
Our process is simple: we start by sourcing only the finest ingredients—usually grown right here in Texas.Next, we distill these ingredients into pure spirits that have a unique Texas flavor. Finally, we bottle up our creations and ship them out all over the world so that everyone can enjoy our Texas heritage.
We believe that good things come from hard work, and we put everything we’ve got into making sure our products live up to their name. Come visit us at one of our tasting rooms or online today.
Our goal is to make the best distilled spirits in the world—and we’re committed to using only the finest ingredients from our home state. We believe that what makes a great vodka is its purity, so every bottle of Texas vodka is made with pure water from our own deep aquifer and corn-based ethanol from Texas farms. Our whiskey is also made with grains grown here in the Lone Star State and distilled in small batches, so you get a smooth taste that’s perfect on its own or mixed into your favorite cocktails.

- 2 to 3 dashes orange bitters
- Garnish with an orange and a cherry in drink

Five craft whiskeys, three of which were bourbon, one pot still, and one Colorado whiskey were the 2024 San Francisco World Spirits Competition’s (SFWSC) Best Craft Distiller Whiskey finalists. New, small, up-and-coming distilleries are often described as craft distillers. While these distilleries may be small and new, they are usually on the cutting edge of American whiskey innovation, producing outstanding whiskeys.
